about Jessie McClaflin, LAPC
About Jessie McClaflin & Solace Counseling
My name is Jessie and I’m a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in North Dakota. I believe healing grows in relationships where you feel fully seen, deeply heard, and supported without judgment. With almost twenty years of experience as a school counselor, I feel deeply called to continue this work in a new way. It’s a genuine privilege to hold space for you—honoring your story, your struggles, your growth, and celebrating the resilience, hope, and meaningful moments that emerge along the way.
I feel honored to walk alongside adolescents, young adults, adults, parents and families—offering support while they lead the way toward healing and wellness. My approach to therapy is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in person centered and solution-focused practices. I see you as the expert in your life, and I’m here to partner with you—at your pace—to explore what’s meaningful, what’s challenging, and what’s possible.
Wherever you are in your journey, you're welcome here and I’m so honored you’re here.

Welcome! I am so glad you’re here. Life can be stressful, unpredictable, and beautifully messy. In the middle of all that life brings, taking care of yourself is essential—yet not always an easy step. Therapy can be a grounding place to process, reflect, and receive support as you navigate life’s challenges. I want you to know and feel the healing power behind feeling seen, heard, and valued. You are worthy of care, and it’s courageous to take this step toward support.
I believe healing happens in safe, trusting relationships and I view therapy as a partnership. That’s where our work begins: by creating a space where you can show up fully—where your truest self, your story, and your struggles are welcome. No need to filter or edit yourself here.
Together, we’ll walk toward the life you want to live—one marked by healing, wholeness, and authenticity. Please, come as you are. There is space for you here!
