Hello! Thank you so much for coming here! My name is Brittany Schank. I am a licensed clinical social worker, but you might also call me an encourager for those who have lost part of themselves, a listening ear, a hope finder, and a space holder for healing. I believe we need less fixing and more loving, less perfection and more appreciation for who we are, and less criticism and more encouragement around us.

I am I glad you’re here. I’m guessing you’ve done your fair share of google searches (or YouTube searches), talked to friends or family, and maybe read a blog or book and are now at a point of realizing what’s going on might be bigger than a quick fix. Perhaps you’ve been to therapy before and it wasn’t the right fit or didn’t see the progress you were hoping for. I am passionate about supporting you on this journey.
During our time together, you can expect to feel comfortable, validated, and heard. My therapy style is very laid back, but productive. We will be serious. We will laugh. We will cry. We will joke. And we will work-hard. My job is to make that work feel achievable and less intimidating.

* Medicare requires the first session to be in person.
** Our office is unable to accept Minnesota Medicaid or any Minnesota Medicaid Expansion plans.
*** Our office is out-of-network with Sanford True and, to our knowledge, Sanford True does not offer out-of-network benefits at this time. This means that insurance claims submitted to Sandford True are being processed by Sanford True entirely to client responsibility.
